Digimon Story: Time Stranger On PS5 Will Receive Quality & Performance Modes From Switch 2 Edition

Bandai Namco has announced that the Quality & Performance modes featured in the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Digimon Story: Time Stranger will come to the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game.

The Quality Mode and Performance Mode features implemented in the Nintendo Switch 2 version will also be implemented in the PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X versions. Details will be announced at a later date, so please wait a little longer.

Developed by Media.Vision, Digimon Story: Time Stranger launched in October 2025 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, and takes the form of an RPG featuring monster-taming elements exploring the bond between humans and Digimon. Players will set off on an epic journey that spans across the human and Digital World, nabbing and raising a diverse collection of Digmon to do battle with in turn-based combat.

Players are able to tame more than 450 Digimon and engage in a comprehensive array of customisation options to offer near-limitless ways to approach combat, which his punctuated with strategic elements as you strengthen your bond with your Digimon companions. Meanwhile, the Digital World has been meticulously detailed like never before, featuring new interactive elements and special quests to experience.
