Forza Horizon 6 Coming To PS5 Later In 2026, Xbox & PC Versions Set For May 19

Playground Games has announced that Forza Horizon 6 is launching for PC and Xbox Series X/S on May 19, 2026, with a PS5 version arriving later in the year.
The news coms following Microsoft’s Xbox Developer Direct 26 yesterday evening, where the format holder offered a deep dive into the upcoming arcade racer. Set in Japan, Forza Horizon 6 will offer over 550 real-world cars as you look to become a racing Legend the Horizon Festival, where you’ll start your journey as a tourist and soak up a world of Japanese culture. As you progress, you’ll build a Valley Estate, get your hands on fancy homes, and display your prized car collection in a fully customisable garage.
Forza Horizon 6 offers the series’ most dense map yet, packed full of verticality, varied biomes, and high-octane driving opportunities. You’ll cruise through suburbs and iconic downtown streets, race through the docks and industrial districts of Tokyo City, which is the largest urban area to date in the franchise.
Cars sound better than ever, with a selection of remastered engine audio and more detailed surface interaction—all brought to life by new acoustic modelling technology, simulating the soundscape of the world. More music than any previous title, including exciting Japanese artists, creating the most diverse soundtrack of any Horizon game yet. Extensive field recordings across all four seasons in Japan create a rich and truly authentic world for you to experience.
Meanwhile, players can come together in the multiplayer mode where you can seamlessly participate in Time Attack Circuits and Drag Meets, as well as showcasing your customised motors at the Car Meets. Players can also earn co-op LINK skills with other racers, and compete in Spec Racing Championships.
