Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 Game Experience ‘More Or Less Complete,’ Almost At The Point Where Team Can Share New Info

Naoki Hamaguchi, the director on Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3, has revealed during an interview with Julien Chieze that the core game experience for the highly anticipated final entry in the project is “more or less complete.”

According to a translation of the interview provided by Genki_JPN on X, the team at Square Enix are now in the process developing the game thoroughly and are very confident about where they are with the project. Furthermore, Hamaguchi-san s eager for fans to play FFVII Remake Part 3 as soon as possible, but obviously have to wait until production is wrapped — having said that, they are almost at a point where new info can be shared.

Back in October, Hamaguchi revealed during a panel at MCM London Comic Con that development of FFVII Remake Part 3 was ‘going well’ despite a release date still not being made public. As reported yesterday, he also revealed that himself and Tetsuya Nomura have managed to narrow down the game’s official title to just two options, with the final choice to be decided by the end of the year.

Speaking during an interview with GamesRadar that same month, Hamaguchi said that the development team will definitely move on to something else following Part 3, but nothing has been decided yet. “I think fans who’ve seen what our work has been on the Remake series, the three games, will really look forward to this exciting, new gameplay experience,” he said.
