Blue Protocol: Star Resonance DPS classes

Here are all the Blue Protocol: Star Resonance characters that focus on damage dealing. There are four DPS classes, each with two different specs.

Frost Mage

• Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
• Attribute: Intellect

The Frost Mage is a long-range AoE DPS character who, like the name suggests, commands the power of ice. Icicle spec focuses on sustained damage dealing by building up and spending Frost Crystals, whereas Frostbeam spec takes a more burst damage-led approach.

Marksman

• Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
• Attribute: Agility

The Marksman class wields a bow and partners with animal companions in combat, acting as a huntsman or ranger-type character. The Wildpack spec is perfect for animal lovers, allowing you to control multiple pets at once while standing back and protecting yourself. If you prefer birds to wolves, the Falconry spec lets you partner up with a falcon that attacks when you deal crit damage with your own abilities, like a follow-up attack.

Stormblade

• Difficulty: ★★★★☆
• Attribute: Agility

Stormblade is a close-range, agile fighter that uses a scythe. The Iaido Slash spec is fast-paced and relies heavily on Volt Surge for the majority of its damage, building up Thunder Sigils and then spending them to deal massive damage. The Moonstrike spec instead builds and spends Blade Intent to create chain attacks, but you need a lot of Haste and Luck to pull it off.

Wind Knight

• Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
• Attribute: Strength

Using a lance as their weapon of choice, the Wind Knight is agile and fast, making them great for controlling small combat areas. The Vanguard spec is a ‘button masher’ spec, with lots of proc-based abilities and a lot to manage to make the most of it. The Aerial spec comes with its own challenges, focusing on plunge attacks that rely on precise combo and cooldown management.

Blue Protocol: Star Resonance support classes

The two support classes specialize in providing healing and buffs for the team, while also dealing some damage of their own from further away.

Beat Performer

• Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
• Attribute: Intellect

The Beat Performer uses a guitar as a weapon, acting as a long-range damage dealer while also healing and providing buffs. The Dissonance spec heals by dealing damage, sustaining the group, and offering powerful buffs at the same time. The Concerto spec is a dedicated healing build, so if you prefer to play a healer but want to look awesome at the same time, choose this path.

Verdant Oracle

• Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
• Attribute: Intellect

Wielding a Nature Ring and channeling the power of the earth, the Verdant Oracle provides long-range healing for the team. The Smite spec has a lower healing output than other support builds, but it makes up for it with a team-wide shield ability that truly shines in large group fights. The Lifebind spec is the easiest support build in Blue Protocol: Star Resonance, offering the maximum healing output through heal-over-time abilities. If you’re a novice MMORPG player and want to fill the healer role, pick the Lifebind spec.

Blue Protocol: Star Reonance tank classes

Tank heroes excel at defensive fighting styles, often equipped with their own self-healing kit to soak up damage and shield the team, either with literal shields or their own body.

Heavy Guardian

• Difficulty: ★★☆☆☆
• Attribute: Strength

The Heavy Guardian excels at close-range combat, wielding a Guardblade to both protect the team and dish out damage. The Earthfort spec provides survivability and damage mitigation through shield use instead of self-healing, so keep that in mind when playing. The Block spec, however, is solely focused on damage mitigation, with its second layer of Lucky Block requiring significant investment in the Luck stat.

Shield Knight

• Difficulty: ★★★☆☆
• Attribute: Strength

As the name suggests, the Shield Knight wields the classic sword and shield combo, and their kit combines close-range combat proficiency, defensive armor, and self-healing. The Shield Knight’s two specs split the class’s skills between recovery and shielding. Recovery spec is dedicated to self-sustain, but doesn’t entirely forego the shielding mechanic. Shield spec goes all in on the class’s Lightforged Barrier passive, stacking shields and increasing max HP.
