Rumour — Fallout 3 Remastered Is Unlikely To Appear At Fallout Day 2025, Says Leaker

Leaker NateTheHate has suggested we won’t be seeing the long-rumoured Fallout 3 Remastered appear at Fallout Day 2025 later this month, stating it’s too early to show off the game.

Speaking on X in response to a follower if we’re likely to see a Fallout 3 remaster announcement at the event, which takes place on October 23, the leaker replied, “I’d be very surprised if they make mention of it this early.” Of course, nothing has even been announced at this point by Bethesda, and as with all comments like this, we should take it with a pinch of salt. However, NatetheHate has proven to be accurate in the past.

Furthermore, his recent comments do align with what he previously said about Fallout 3 Remastered. Back in April, the tipster said that it would be a while before we saw the game, so if that is the case, it’s unlikely it would show up just six months after that comment was made.

Fallout 3 Remastered was originally leaked alongside The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered in documents pertaining to Microsoft and the FTC’s legal battle. Oblivion Remastered turned out to be the real deal, as it was released in April 2025, so there’s every reason to believe Fallout 3 is getting the same treatment.

Fallout 3 was originally released for PS3, PC, and Xbox 360 back in October 2008. The game takes place in the ruins of Washington, D.C., as well as the surrounding countryside in an area known as the Capital Wasteland. Set in 2277, the player steps in the role of a resident of Vault 101, and later venture out into the wasteland in search of their father after the mysteriously disappears. Fallout 3 was supported by five DLC packs and receive a Game of the Year Edition.
