Survival-horror adventure “‘Kigetsu no Yoru” announced for Switch
Edia has announced Kigetsu no Yoru for Switch, and it’s set to launch January 29th, 2026 in Japan. This title is described as a “time-leap survival horror adventure game.”
In Kigetsu no Yoru, a modern-day high school student is reincarnated as someone caught up in a mass murder case in a gloomy rural village of the early Showa era. This is a “time-leap survival horror” in which the protagonist gets dragged into the incident and dies, repeating the same time over and over while striving to make the right choices to survive.
With each time leap, relationships become more entangled, and murderous intent becomes inescapable. Through repetition, the village’s customs, hidden secrets, and the true culprit’s motives gradually come to light. When the waning moon fades, will you be greeted by hope… or despair?
