Mega Man Star Force Legacy Collection Announced By Capcom For PS4, PS5 Release In 2026
During today’s Nintendo Direct, Capcom announced its next Mega Man collection. Mega Man Star Force Legacy was officially announced. The seven-game collection is just the next step Capcom is taking in bringing all the Mega Man games together. The Starforce series was a sequel to the Battle Network series, which received its own collection a few years ago.

The Star Force series saw the Battle Network franchise move to the Nintendo DS and utilized a 3D turn-based battle system. The games were critically and commercially successful. The collection will keep the dual-screen style of the DS by displaying both screens as one screen and will allow you to trade cards and battle others online.

‘With the release of the Star Force series, there is only one memorable title that Mega Man fans have been hoping gets a remaster from Capcom. Mega Man X: Command Mission. The turn-based JRPG was released on the PlayStation 2 and was developed by members who worked on the Breath of Fire franchise.
Up to this point, almost all the Mega Man games have been brought to modern consoles and can all be experienced on one platform. Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 & 2, featuring the original 8 classic Mega Man games, Mega Man X: Legacy Collection, which includes all the X games; Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, featuring Zero across his numerous titles; and Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection, which includes the prequel titles to Starforce Legacy.
