Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 To Add ‘Fresh Start Suit’ Inspired By Spider-Man: Brand New Day On July 28

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is getting a free update on July 28 that will add the ‘Fresh Start Suit’ to the game, which is inspired by the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Insomniac Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment have announced.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day follows Peter Parker (Tom Holland) four years after the spell by Dr. Stephen Stranger caused the world to forget Parker exists, and sees the superhero anonymously protecting New York City as Spider-Man. Here, we find the wall-crawler investigating a powerful new threat as his superpowers begin to exhibit a stranger and potentially dangerous evolution.

Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launched for the PS5 in October 2023 and follows Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they team up to take down a new threat in the form of Venom and Kraven the Hunter. The game’s open-world has been expanded to allow for more exploration of New York City, and players can jump between both characters freely (with the exception of story-specific events) and expand their unique moveset, as well as taking on various side activities and collectibles.
