Tekken 8 Confirms October Release Date For Armor King; Watch Him In Action In The New Trailer Here

Bandai Namco Entertainment released the full trailer for Armor King, the next DLC character for Tekken 8, during EVO 2025 over the weekend, confirming the masked brawler will be released on October 16, 2025. However, if you have the character pass, you’ll be able to play as him from Oct. 13.

Armor King has been knocking around since the original Tekken, where he served as King’s sub-boss. Back then, the two were friendly rivals, although Armor King would later meet his demise at the hands of Craig Marduk before the events of Tekken 4. The character returned in Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, and it was later revealed this was the brother of the original Armor King, where he’s been on a mission of revenge ever since and doesn’t seem to be on friendly terms with King (now King II after the death of the original masked wrestler at the hands of Ogre).

Tekken 8 is now available for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S and is currently in its second season.
