Two Games Are Confirmed For Xbox Game Pass In August 2025 So Far

As we always do around this time of the month, we’re taking a look today at what’s ahead for August 2025’s Xbox Game Pass selection, with two titles having been confirmed for the library next month so far.

As it stands, two Xbox first-party releases are the only games we know about for now – including the much-anticipated Gears of War: Reloaded, which marks the series’ first multiplatform console release since its inception in 2006.

Oh, and although it’s not a full-blown addition to the library, we do have a free EA Play trial for Madden 26 coming next month as well. That one lands on August 11th, providing 10 hours of NFL action for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

We’ll keep you in the loop about August 2025’s Xbox Game Pass titles as they’re announced over the coming weeks, but for now, let’s take a look at the two main games that have been revealed for next month already:

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is a cinematic experience of immersion where we push real-time visuals to deliver rich, believable environments and characters to sink you deep into Senua’s story. Now, with Performance Mode, we’re excited to give you the option to experience gameplay at 60 FPS. The result is smoother gameplay, especially noticeable during combat and fast-moving moments of the game.”

“Powered by Unreal Engine, Gears of War: Reloaded is a remaster of the blockbuster first Gears of War, now fully optimized for the latest generation of gaming platforms. Gears of War: Reloaded delivers all post-launch content for the original title, including a bonus campaign act, multiplayer maps, plus characters and cosmetics, at no additional cost.”
