Battlefield Labs Datamine Uncovers Battlefield 6 Open Beta Code

A recent datamine of the ongoing Battlefield Labs has unearthed references to an as-yet unannounced Battlefield 6 Open Beta.

The 1BF Telegram group has reported that the latest client update for Battlefield Labs has added the string ‘Battlefield 6 open beta,’ suggesting that something is in the pipeline at Battlefield Studios. This doesn’t mean that the new Battlefield game is officially called Battlefield 6, but rather, it’s probably just an internal name that the team are using for the time being, and it’s been thrown around for a while now by the media when talking about the next instalment in the franchise

Battlefield Studios hasn’t announced an open beta for the new Battlefield game yet, but it’s not a stretch to assume there would be one closer to launch. An official release date hasn’t been set for the shooter yet, but publisher EA has said to expect Battlefield 6 (or whatever it ends up being called) by the end of March 2026.

In the meantime, leaks from Battlefield Labs has provided us with a slew of hints as to what’s coming from the new game. Only recently, the fan-favourite Rush Mode was showcased in action, as well as footage from the campaign. Furthermore, it has also been claimed that the new Battlefield title has transitioned from pre-Alpha build to Alpha.

EA will officially reveal the new Battlefield game at some point this summer, with the game expected to launch for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

Battlefield 6 is currently undergoing extensive playtesting ahead of its release, which has confirmed that the game will feature some impressive destruction mechanics. This latest entry in the franchise is a massive undertaking, and is being worked on by a collective known as Battlefield Studios, which includes DICE, Ripple Effect Studios, Criterion Games and EA Motive.
