Halo Studios Confirms Major Reveal To Take Place Later This Year

Halo Studios Teases Multiple Game Reveals For Later This Year

We’ve been waiting a while for Halo Studios to reveal what’s next with the Halo franchise, and now we officially have a month to put in our diaries – the developer says October 2025 is when we’ll be finding out more details.

Specifically, it’ll be at the Halo World Championship 2025 between October 24th and October 26th where Halo Studios will give us “the official scoop on what [we’ve] been working on”, as revealed on the Halo Waypoint website today.

“Over the past few weeks, there’s been a fair amount of speculation about when and where more details might emerge about any of the multiple projects Halo Studios is actively working on. We don’t usually comment on such matters, but this time we want to enter the chat and share a little more perspective for Halo fans who might be on the fence about whether to attend this year’s event.”

“Speculation is always fun, but if you want the official scoop on what Halo Studios has been working on, you won’t want to miss this year’s Halo World Championship.”

Now, before you get too excited, we may not find out about all of those multiple projects – Halo Studios says their previous “New Dawn” update was “just the beginning” for a conversation that will continue at the Halo Championship.

They do mention that we’ll hear “what Halo Studios has been working on” though – and Xbox boss Phil Spencer teased recently that a new Halo game will be coming out in 2026. At the very least, we’re expecting to find out more about what that is, probably in the form of a Halo: Combat Evolved remaster or remake.
