Blood Message Is A New AAA Single-Player Action Title From NetEase Games For PC, Consoles

NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment Lin’an have announced the development of a new single-player action-adventure game, Blood Message, which is coming to PC and consoles. The game will feature a strong emphasis on narrative and is said to be a linear adventure with strong cinematic quality.

Speaking in a press release, Zhipeng Hu, Lead Producer and Executive Vice President of NetEase Games, commented:

We are ushering players into a new generation of high adventure with Blood Message. As our first completely single-player focused experience from NetEase Games, after two decades of deep dedication to the gaming industry, we are prepared to deliver a truly epic and cinematic experience for players around the world.

Blood Messages takes place during the final years of the Tang Dynasty, and sees players travelling around 1,000 miles in a treacherous journey back to the heart of the empire, Chang-‘an. Along the way, you’ll navigate dangerous landscapes including deserts and wilderness, surviving against devastating sieges, unforgiving terrain, and fight back against overwhelming odds. The game combines realistic combat with stealth and survival mechanics, weaving a narrative that’s ripe with family, honour, sacrifice, and cultural identity.

NetEase Games has yet to attract a release date.
