What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 3-4)
Our first weekend of May 2025 is here! If you reside in the UK, you may well be enjoying an extended Bank Holiday weekend this week, which means even more time to play games… right? We thought so!
Anyway, here’s what we’re playing this weekend:

First and foremost, I think I’m going to get stuck back into Far Cry 4 a little bit this weekend. Alongside its arrival on Xbox Game Pass, Ubisoft has updated the game to be running natively at 60FPS – and I wanna see how that’s all shaping up in 2025. This is one of the best Far Cry games out there; I just know it’ll be a good laugh whatever I decide to get up to in its big open-world playground.
Other than that, I might stick with the Game Pass theme and replay the Modern Warfare 2 campaign over the weekend – after all, I went through the awkward process of getting it installed again this week! Thankfully, the game’s story mode is much more fun than navigating that Xbox install – I highly recommend it if you fancy some short and sweet FPS action this weekend!
Have a good one, folks.

What to play, what to play. Well, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will probably keep demanding my attention over the next few weeks, so I might not get around to trying much else. That said, I’m keen to check out this Star Wars Fortnite update and see if I can get the Darth Jar Jar skin… although that probably requires a ridiculous grind!
There’s another game I’m playing at the moment that I can’t talk about, but I’m definitely excited to share my thoughts on it later this month. Oh, and I’ve been using my Xbox Riffmaster to play YARG on PC with custom songs, and if you’ve bought one of these guitars, I highly recommend you do the same! It’s even better than Rock Band 4.
Have a great weekend, folks.
