Roblox partner Super League has acquired production studio and creative agency Supersocial for an undisclosed sum.
The acquisition supports Super League’s mission to connect brands with audiences through interactive experiences while expanding its roster of strategic partnerships.
Following its acquisition, Superficial CEO Mr. Raz-Fridman will now serve as an advisor to Super League. Moreover, Super League said it will have around 50 employees and a sales team of 5 to 10 people.
Both Super League and Supersocial are part of the Roblox Partner Program focused on creating branded worlds and managing integrations within experiences on the platform.
“Leaning into play”
“We are honoured to be trusted by Supersocial’s partners as their new stewards in such an important, fast-growing space as it begins to demonstrate attributable, meaningful business outcomes for brands,” said Super League president and CEO Matt Edelman.
“Consumers across every demographic play video games. Brands who want to win those hearts and minds need to be playable. Yon and his team have always understood the importance of leaning into play. It will be a joy to build upon what they have created.”
Superficial founder and CEO Yon Raz-Fridman commented: “This acquisition marks an exciting new chapter for Supersocial. We’ve always been driven by pushing boundaries and delivering innovative experiences for brands, IP owners, and the Roblox community.”
“By joining forces with Super League, we’re unlocking the potential to bring even more value to our clients and partners, and ultimately to players.
