Latest round of amiibo releases see a price increase

Earlier today, Nintendo announced that select Switch 2 accessories would be seeing price increases due to the current tariff situation in the United States. Unfortunately, we’re now seeing that prices for amiibo are going to see a bump as well.

As discovered by listings that went live on GameStop, the next round of amiibo are about to see a considerable price hike. Those interested in the next four Legend of Zelda amiibo will have to pay $30 for each release (previously listed at $20), and if you were considering the Street Fighter 6 amiibo, you’ll have to cough up $40 per character (previously $30).

Specifics on why the amiibo prices have increased weren’t shared, but again, there’s absolutely zero doubt this is related to the current tariff situation. Hopefully that means once the tariff situation changes, we will see a price drop as well.
