Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Struts Across The 2025 BAFTA Game Awards With 11 Nominations

Awards season for 2024 games is nearly over, as the final major show of the year is still to come at the beginning of next month. The 2025 BAFTA Game Awards is set to premiere this coming April 8, 2025, on YouTube and on Twitch, with the show’s nominees revealed earlier on Tuesday.

Across the 17 awards categories, there are a few standout games that show up quite often. Astro Bot is unsurprisingly one of them, and is more than half the reason that PlayStation stands tall with a total of 17 nominations for games developed and published by its internal studios.

The game with the most nominations though is Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, standing above the rest with 11 nominations. Astro Bot for its part is tied with Still Wakes The Deep for second place and 8 nominations, and indie darling Thank Goodness You’re Here! makes third place with 7 nominations.

Golden Joysticks choice for game of the year, Black Myth: Wukong grabbed six nominations, while Helldivers 2, which has also won a number of accolades across the 2024 awards season stands at 5 nominations.
