Rainbow Six Siege 2 Is Reportedly In Development With Major Engine Overhaul

Ubisoft is reportedly working on Rainbow Six Siege 2, according to X user fraxiswinning, and is apparently set to be announce during the Six Invitational 2025 by the name of Siege X.

While this should be filled under rumour for the time being, the report claims that Siege X will feature a major overhaul in regards to the game engine and visuals, including enhanced textures and character models. It’s also claimed that the previous limited-time events from the first game may not return for Siege X, with Ubisoft said to be focussing on new events.

Siege X is supposedly scheduled for release during Rainbow Six Siege Year 10 Season 2, which is due in mid-2025. Again, we’ll just have to wait for an official announcement to see if this all pans out.

Rainbow Six Siege was originally released for PS4, PC, and Xbox One in December 2015 and has received extensive post-launch support from Ubisoft.
