Donkey Kong joins this week’s eShop roundup
It’s time to check out the latest releases from Nintendo. Despite the shadow-dropped news of the Switch 2 not long ago, there’s still a couple of months before the full reveal, meaning the Switch will be kicking on for some time yet. And what better way to start the year than with a return to Donkey Kong Country?
That’s right, DK is back! Donkey Kong and his best pal, Diddy Kong, hit the Switch this week in the HD remaster of Donkey Kong Country Returns. This lush platformer is full to the brim of challenges and collectibles as the pair work together to recover their stolen banana horde from the Tiki Tak Tribe.
To help celebrate the release of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, you can nab yourself a special reward via the My Nintendo website. The physical reward is a colorful cube of sticky notes featuring Donkey Kong. Each cube sits neatly atop a crate to complete the look. The whole thing will set you back 600 points, so head online to redeem yours before they run out.
Meanwhile, a remastered version of Tales of Grace f is also on the cards this week, bringing the Wii-era RPG classic to the Switch for the first time. Expect updated visuals and a new auto-save feature to help on your otherworldy adventure.
Nintendo Music also received a neat update during the week, adding The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker to its collection. This lovely soundtrack features 133 tracks over 3 hours and 40 minutes. Enjoy!
