Hitman World Of Assassination Reaches 75 Million Player Milestone
IO Interactive has revealed that Hitman World of Assassination has drummed up 75 million players worldwide, and the studio is planning more content for the game throughout 2025.
In case you haven’t been keeping up with all things Hitman, the World of Assassination moniker essentially packages Hitman, Hitman 2, and Hitman 3 under one umbrella, which IO Interactive keeps chugging along thanks to consistent title updates.

The latest major update came in the form of a new Elusive Target, Max Valliant, who is portrayed by legendary martial artist and actor, Jean-Claude Van Damme. At the time of writing, only 40% of Hitman World of Assassination players have cleared this mission, and it’s only around for another two days, so get your skates on if you haven’t tackled it.
Looking ahead, IO Interactive is set to release a PSVR 2 version of Hitman World of Assassination in March 2025.
