The New Day Seemingly Split On WWE RAW, Big E’s Girlfriend Reacts
The segment on WWE RAW between The New Day’s Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E took a turn as expected.
While the celebration started off as a joyful reunion, tensions quickly rised when Big E came out and said he had some feelings of hurt over the conflict within the group, especially after all they had been through together over the past ten years.
Big E’s heartfelt speech about how his New Day brothers supported him during his injury contrasted with the response he got from Kingston and Woods. Kingston and Woods were frustrated with Big E’s decision to take so long to return to the ring, especially after Big E had seen others like Steve Austin, Edge, and Kurt Angle return from serious injuries. The two accused E. of abandoning them in their time of need, especially since he had chosen a different life, including his relationship, over the brotherhood they once shared.
The situation became more intense when Woods taunted Big E by saying that he should leave and take up a desk job, hinting that his in-ring career might be over due to the severity of his injury. When Big E attempted to reconcile by offering a hug, Kingston and Woods both rejected him.
The segment ended with a sharp break, as Woods and Kingston seemed to walk away from Big E for good.
Big E’s girlfriend Kris also took to Twitter to react to being brought into the storyline. You can check out her tweets below:
