Discord management platform Levellr has raised $1.75 million in a investment round led by a group of games industry leaders.

Levellr aims to use the new funds to continue building its community insight and management tools for Discord. The company also offers support for developers using Telegram, and plans to add Reddit integration next year.

Investors in the round included ex-Nexon CEO Owen Mahoney, Discord board member Mitch Lasky, SuperAwesome co-founder Dylan Collins, and other industry leaders from companies like Krafton, Riot Games, Amazon and SuperAwesome. The company has also tapped Collins as its new chairman.

Solving a common challenge

Founded in 2021 with a team of 22 based across the UK, the US, and Europe, Levellr said its mission is to help brands create authentic spaces for fan engagement and collaboration.

“When we launched Levellr, we saw a common challenge: while brands had thriving communities on platforms like Discord, they struggled to measure the real value of these spaces,” said Levellr CEO Tom Gayner in a blog post.

“Questions like ‘How much playtime are we driving?’ and ‘What is the true $ value of our community engagement?’ often went unanswered.

“Levellr was built to change that. Our software integrates directly into community platforms like Discord and Telegram, capturing billions of data points that deliver insights on everything from engagement to sentiment.

“With Levellr, brands gain clear visibility into how community members contribute to the bottom line, allowing them to turn engagement into business intelligence. For example, our data shows that a Discord user can be six times more valuable than a non-Discord user – proof of the untapped potential these communities hold.”
