Who is Jinhsi?
Jinhsi, the Magistrate of Jinzhou, was born with her innate spectro power. She resonates directly with Jué, the big dragon sentinel in the Mt Firmament area. We go through her backstory in the main quest of Wuthering Waves, but to sum up, she nearly passed as a child but was saved by Jué – hence their connection and her high standing in Jinzhou. She strives to take care of her citizens and protect the city.
What are Jinhsi’s stats?
Below are Jinhsi’s base stats at level one and level 90. These are basic stats – not including any extras from weapons, team bonuses, or other equipment you can give her.

What are Jinhsi’s skills?
Let’s look at what Jinhsi can do during battle. Her kit dishes out plenty of spectro damage, and has a couple of different buildable boosts to add even more damage.
Here are all of Jinhsi’s skills and attacks:
Jinhsi’s active skills
Skill | Effect |
Basic attack -Slash of Breaking Dawn | Jinhsi performs up to four consecutive strikes, dealing spectro damage |
Heavy attack | Jinhsi performs a charged attack, consuming stamina, dealing heavy spectro damage |
Mid-air attack | Jinhsi performs a plunging attack from mid-air, dealing a small AoE of spectro damage |
Dodge counter | Using a basic attack after a successful dodge unleashes a counter-attack, dealing spectro damage |
Resonance skill – Trailing Lights Of Eons |
Jinhsi dashes forward and deals consecutive strikes that deal spectro damage Overflowing Radiance – |
Resonance liberation – Purge of Light | Jinhsi unleashes the power of invocation to deal heavy spectro damage. You can use this in mid-air |
Intro skill – Loong’s Halo | Jinhsi attacks the target, dealing spectro damage |
Outro skill – Temporal Bender | Summoning the power of Jue the Sentinel, Jinhsi can gain Incandescence from Eras in Unity from damage of the same attribute once every second – lasting for 20 seconds |
Jinhsi’s passive skills
Skill | Effect |
Forte circuit – Luminal Synthesis | Incarnation – While in Incarnation, Jinhsi’s basic attack becomes enhanced. Performing this attack counts as resonance skill damage, and you can cast this in mid-air. As well as this, her heavy attack, dodge, and resonance skill damage turn into Incarnation versions, where she can deal more damage, and use her skills in mid-air.Illuminous Epiphany – After basic attack four of Jinhsi’s enhanced Incarnation string, she gains Ordination Glow. During this time, her basic attack becomes a heavy attack, and she can attack in mid-air by using stamina. Her resonance skill becomes Illuminous Epiphany, which sends out a solar flare that detonates as Stella Glamor, dealing spectro damage. This consumes up to 50 Incandescence, and each point grants a damage bonus multiplier to Stella Glamor. Jinhsi gains Unison after using Illuminous Epiphany, which can trigger once every 25 seconds. Unison- While in this state, swapping to other party members removes the effect and triggers Jinhsi’s outro skill, along with the next party member’s intro skill. This also is consumed in place of concerto energy when the energy is full. Incandescence – |
Inherent skill – Radiant Surge (unlockable at resonator rank two) | Jinhsi’s spectro damage bonus increases by 20% |
Inherent skill – Converged Flash (unlockable after Radiant Surge) | The damage multiplier of Jinhsi’s intro skill, Loong’s Halo, increases by 50% |
What’s the best weapon for Jinhsi?
The best weapon for Jinhsi, by far, is her signature broadblade Ages of Harvest. This adds a significant damage boost to most of her kit, and will make her an even better DPS. However, this weapon is only available when she is.
You can also use the Lustrous Razor for a boost to her energy regeneration. If you don’t have any five-star options (don’t worry, I don’t either), the Autumntrace and Helios Cleaver are still very well-rounded four-star options.
Weapon | Effect | How to obtain |
Ages of Harvest (five-star) | This grants Jinhsi a 12% spectro damage bonus. Using her intro skill gives her Ageless Marking, which grants an extra 24% resonance skill damage bonus for 12 seconds. Using her resonance skill gives her Ethereal Endowment, granting her a 24% resonance skill damage bonus for 12 seconds | Limited weapon banner alongside Jinhsi |
Verdant Summit (five-star) | Increases the damage bonus of all resonance attributes by 12%. Every time Jinhsi casts her intro skill or resonance liberation, her heavy attack damage bonus increases by 24%. This can stack twice and lasts for 14 seconds | Limited weapon banner alongside Jiyan |
Lustrous Razor (five-star) | Increases Jinhsi’s energy regeneration by 12.8%. When she casts her resonance skill, her resonance liberation damage increases by 7%. This can stack three times and lasts 12 seconds | Standard weapon banner |
Helios Cleaver (four-star) | Within 12 seconds after casting her resonance skill, Jinhsi’s attack increases by 3% every two seconds, stacking four times. This can trigger once every 12 seconds. When the stacks reach four, all stacks reset within six seconds | All banners |
Autumntrace (four-star) | Increases Jinhsi’s attack by 4% when dealing basic or heavy attack damage, which can stack five times. This lasts for seven seconds and can trigger once every second | Battle pass reward |
What are the best echoes for Jinhsi?
When picking an echo set for Jinhsi, aim for a five-piece set of celestial light echoes to activate the spectro buffs. If you’re not blessed with a good five-piece set, you can use two lingering tunes and two celestial light echoes to activate spectro and attack buffs.
The best main echo to equip Jinhsi with is Jue. Not only does this echo deal an instance of damage, but it extends Jinhsi’s spectro damage over time. The Mourning Aix is another great option as it boosts Jinhsi’s spectro and resonance liberation damage after using the echo’s skill.
Recommended echo | Effect |
Jué | Summon Jué into the fight who soars through the air, dealing AoE spectro damage. Jué also summons thunderbolts to strike enemies five times. Jué then spirals down to attack enemies twice. Using Jué gives your active resonator a Blessing of Time for 15 seconds that gives a 16% resonance skill damage boost, and an extra instance of spectro damage upon hitting a target with a resonance skill |
Mourning Aix | Turn into the Mourning Aix to perform two attacks, dealing heavy spectro damage. After the transformation ends, Jinhsi’s spectro damage increases by 12%, and her resonance liberation damage by 12% for 15 seconds |

What’s the best Jinhsi team comp?
Jinhsi, as your main DPS, benefits from a healer to keep her safe and buffers to improve her damage. Anyone who can provide coordinated attacks can add significant damage output, too – like Yinlin and Mortefi – thanks to Jinhsi’s Forte Circuit.
- Wuthering Waves Yinlin – now, Yinlin may boost electro damage, but her coordinated attacks are excellent in any party as they add a bit of extra damage from all directions.
- Wuthering Waves Mortefi – Mortefi boosts your main DPS’ heavy attack while also providing coordinated attacks with his resonance liberation – plus, he’s excellent at refilling his own concerto energy, so this will be available often.
- Wuthering Waves Yuanwu – Yuanwu, like Mortefi, can give another coordinated attack for Jinhsi to work with. If you don’t have a Yinlin, he’s a good alternative. he also requires very little time on-field, allowing you to focus on dealing damage with Jinhsi.
- Wuthering Waves Verina or Wuthering Waves Baizhi – chances are you’ll be heading into some fierce battles with Jinhsi, so we suggest taking Verina or Baizhi to provide healing. Verina can add a damage boost with her ultimate, while Baizhi at higher sequence nodes can resurrect a party member during battle, and add some extra damage.

Sequence node two: Chronofrost Repose | Jinhsi restores 50 Incandescence while out of combat for more than four seconds. This can only trigger once every four seconds |
