PlayStation parent Sony has launched a new incubator program entitled the MENA Hero Project.

The program will identify promising local games developers and support them in bringing their games to players worldwide.

The MENA Hero Project will support game developers based in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia.

Call for submissions

“As part of our evolving journey to ensure that PlayStation remains the best place to play, we’re committed to developing regional incubator programs capable of identifying new and diverse developers worldwide,” Sony wrote in a blog post.

“The MENA Hero Project is fueled by this commitment and our belief in the MENA gaming market. We aim to drive growth and innovation with game developers in the MENA region.”

Sony is also focused on lowering the barrier of entry for local developers in the MENA region and is urging interested developers to apply to the program from the official website.

Once your submission is accepted, the Hero Project team will reach out and move on to the next step of the initiative.
