Terminator Survivors Is Powered By Unreal Engine 5, Single-Player Offline Support Confirmed
Nacon Studio Milan has revealed a slew of details on the upcoming Terminator Survivors on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, revealing the game is powered by Unreal Engine 5 and features support for offline single-player.
While you can play solo, Terminator Survivors offers co-op alongside up to three players, although the studio confirmed there’s currently no plans for PvP to be implemented.
Meanwhile, the developer also shared some insight into the setting and its reason for having a single T-800 pursuing players. Set in 2009, Terminator Survivors takes place just a few years after Judgment Day, an event that saw the human race nearly destroyed after it was previously delayed by the efforts of Sarah Connor in 1997.

We aimed to capture the essence of the first two films, where the looming threat of an unstoppable machine instilled a sense of dread and urgency. By featuring a lone T-800 as the relentless antagonist, players are immersed in an atmosphere of constant peril and tension. Much like the protagonists in the movies, players will experience the harrowing sensation of being hunted by an adversary that knows no mercy and cannot be reasoned with.
Finally, it was also revealed in the FAQ that there will be a chance to expand your base by constructing new facilities and enhancing them beyond the existing one that is tied to the story.
Terminator Survivors is scheduled for release on October 24, 2024 for PC Early Access, with a console version arriving at a later date.
