Ubisoft’s XDefiant Server Test Will Apparently Take Place This Weekend On Xbox

Months and months after the game’s last pre-release test, Ubisoft is apparently very close to unleashing XDefiant‘s latest stress test on Xbox Series X|S. According to a new report from Insider Gaming, the team is targeting an April 19th date for its 12-hour server test session – although the outlet says to remain cautious considering Ubisoft’s track record with delaying the title.

If true though, this would be an all-day Friday job, however the outlet is also claiming that if the test goes to plan, Ubisoft will keep it running over the weekend – finally concluding on Sunday, April 21st. This would make sense, given that the servers could really be stress tested during those weekend days.

At the start of the month, Ubisoft first announced this upcoming test period – also saying that the game’s full launch date should be announced shortly after the test wraps up. Hopefully, Ubisoft comes out to clarify all of these dates real soon, and we can look forward to testing out XDefiant again in the coming days.

In the meantime, the game’s executive producer Mark Rubin recently talked about all of the development troubles his Ubisoft team has gone through in recent years to get this free-to-play shooter in ship shape. If you’d like, you can read all about that down below.
