Slay The Spire 2 Announced, Arrives First On PC In Early Access In 2025

Slay The Spire 2, a sequel to developer Mega Crit Games critical and commercial hit Slay The Spire has been announced, and will arrive first on PC in Early Access sometime in 2025.

The reveal took place during the Triple-I Initiative Showcase, a show built around showing off indie studios and their coming projects.

We’re not even halfway through 2024, so the news that Slay The Spire 2 won’t release until sometime in 2025, and that it’ll do so in Early Access, already gives PlayStation players an impression as to how long they’ll be waiting to get their hands on the rougelite.

It’s also not currently confirmed as coming to any consoles, but with the success of the original, if this sequel can follow suit then there should be no reason why it doesn’t come to consoles, PS5 included.

For a reveal trailer we just got an animated teaser, so no gameplay right out the gate, but hopefully the closer we get towards the end of even this year, the more we start to see.
