Genshin Impact Furina build
Archon of the hydro nation, Genshin Impact’s Furina, lives for the drama of the courthouse and presides over all of Fontaine’s goings-on. She’s a five-star, hydro unit that uses a sword and can help pop off tons of reactions on the field with her menagerie of watery animals, while putting on a fantastic show, of course.

Here’s everything you need to know about the best Genshin Impact Furina build.
What’s the best Genshin Impact Furina build?
Best weapon | Splendor of Tranquil Waters |
Weapon substitutes | Key of Khaj Nisut, Fleuve Cendre Ferryman |
Best artifact set | Golden Troupe |
Main stats | Sands – HP Goblet – Hydro damage bonus Circlet – HP |
Sub stats | HP, energy recharge, attack, crit rate, crit damage |
The best Furina build uses the Spendor of Tranquil Waters sword and a set of Golden Troupe artifacts with HP stats. Furina can be a main DPS, but she works best as a sub-DPS dealing hydro damage off-field. She’s an excellent unit for popping off reactions including hyperbloom, freeze, and vaporize.
As part of her performance on the field, Furina invites the guests of the Salon Solitaire to come forth and join her either dealing constant damage or healing your character, depending on Furina’s current Arkhe alignment. Furina can change her alignment using her charged attacks. Her attacks scale off her HP, so keep this in mind when building her.
In terms of her best team, Furina fits excellently into a wide range of teams that require hydro application or a damage boost. We suggest you take a healer with her, as her elemental skill drains your full team’s HP over time.
How do I use Genshin Impact’s Furina?
Ideally, you want Furina’s burst to be up as much as possible, while also keeping an eye on which of her skills are currently deployed on the field. If you need a little healing boost while dealing some hydro damage, use her Pneuma-aligned skill – whereas if you want all hydro damage all the time, use her Ouisa-aligned watery summons that can pack a serious punch.
What are the best Furina weapons?
Furina requires a high HP stat and plenty of energy recharge, but thankfully there are plenty of good weapon choices to help out with this, while also boosting her damage. Her signature weapon, Splendor of Tranquil Waters, is her best weapon by far, but there are a few other really good options for her – especially at higher refinement levels.
Weapon | Effect | How to obtain |
Splendor of Tranquil Waters (five-star) | Bonus effect: Increases crit damage Skill: When Furina’s current HP increases or decreases, her elemental skill damage increases by 8% for six seconds. This can stack three times. When other party members’ HP fluctuates, her max HP increases by 14% for six seconds – this can stack twice. These effects can trigger even when she is not on field. |

Key of Khaj-Nisut (five-star) | Bonus effect: Increases max HP Skill: Furina’s HP increases by 20%. When her elemental skill hits an opponent, you gain the Grand Hymn effect for 20 seconds. This increases Furina’s elemental mastery by 0.12% of her max HP. This effect triggers once every 0.3 seconds. Maximum three stacks. When this effect gains three stacks, or when the third stack’s duration refreshes, the elemental mastery of all nearby party members increases by 0.2% of Furina’s max HP for 20 seconds |

Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (four-star) | Bonus effect: Increases energy recharge Skill: Increases Furina’s elemental skill crit rate by 8%. Additionally increases her energy recharge by 16% for five seconds after using an elemental skill |
Fontaine Fishing Association reward |
Wolf Fang (four-star) | Bonus effect: Increases crit rate Skill: Damage dealt by Furina’s elemental skill and burst increases by 16%. When an elemental skill or burst hits an opponent, the crit rate increases by 2%. Both effects last ten seconds, separately, and can stack up to four times |
Battle Pass reward |
Favonius Sword (four-star) | Bonus effect: Increases energy recharge Skill: Crit hits have a 60% chance to generate a small amount of elemental particles, which regenerate six energy each for Furina. This can only occur once every 12 seconds |

What are the best Genshin Impact Furina artifacts?
Furina’s kit is all about elemental damage, even with her using a sword as a weapon. Her deployable animals constantly attack foes with hydro, so boosting her elemental damage bonus is helpful – but most important is her HP. As mentioned, her attacks scale off it, so at least one HP-boosting two-piece set is recommended. Saying that, a four-piece of Golden Troupe – with HP main and sub stats – will do very well for an off-field Furina, thanks to it boosting her elemental damage.
Obviously, a hydro-boosting two-piece will work on Furina if you don’t have much else, but there are better options for her kit.
Artifact | Effect | How to obtain |
Golden Troupe | Two equipped: Increases elemental skill damage Four equipped: Increases Furina’s elemental skill damage by 25%. When she is not on field, her elemental skill damage further increases by another 25%. This clears two seconds after she takes the field |
Denouement of Sin domain |
Marechaussee Hunter | Two equipped: Increases normal and charged attack damage Four equipped: When Furina’s current HP increases or decreases, her crit rate increases by 12% for five seconds. This can stack three times |
Denouement of Sin domain |
Vourukasha’s Glow | Two equipped: Increases HP Four equipped: Furina’s elemental skill and burst damage increase by 10%. After she takes damage, the damage bonus increases by 80% for five seconds. This can stack five times. This can trigger even when she is not on field |
Molten Iron Fortress domain |
Nymph’s Dream | Two equipped: Increases hydro damage Four equipped: After Furina’s normal, charged, and plunging attacks, elemental skills, or elemental bursts hit opponents, she triggers one stack of Mirrored Nymph. When under the effect of one, two, or three stacks, her attack increases by 7/16/25%, and hydro damage bonus increases by 4/9/15% |

What are the best Genshin Impact Furina team comps?
Furina deals a lot of hydro damage and applies the wet status constantly, as well as buffing your team, so she can slot into many comps. Her attack does drain your team’s HP, so consider taking a healer with you, unless you’re willing to swap to her healing skill sometimes.
Miss Focalor is excellent in vaporize, freeze, hyperbloom, tazer, and really any hydro-based reaction team, and you don’t massively need a grouper due to her sea creature spawns targeting enemies (and overworld items) automatically.
What are Genshin Impact Furina’s abilities?
It appears that Furina has it all going for her, in a suitably dramatic kit for the hydro archon. She deals plenty of hydro damage in an AoE, along with draining HP and healing fellow teammates, while summoning adorable hydro critters.
Active skills:
Skill | Effect |
Normal attack: | Normal: Furina uses her sword to deal physical damage, up to four consecutive times in one string Charged: This attack consumes a small amount of stamina and allows Furina to swap between her Pneuma and Ousia alignments Plunging: Furina dives down to the ground and deals physical damage in a small AoE |
Arkhe: Seats Sacred and Secular | Depending which Furina’s current Arkhe alignment is – either Pneuma or Ousia – Spiritbreath Thorns or Surging Blades appear and attack targets along with her normal attacks. These deal hydro damage |
Elemental skill: Salon Solitaire | Furina’s elemental skill changes depending on her Arhke alignment – Ousia: The three Slon Members appear on the field, and continuously hit targets, dealing hydro damage. This damage increases depending on how many characters in your party have a certain amount of HP. If characters have more than 50% HP, the Members’ attack power increases, but consumes the HP of all current teammates. Their attack raises by 110, 120, 130, or 140% when one – four party members have enough HP. When the Salon Members take the field, Furina deals hydro damage in an AoE based on her own maximum HP. Pneuma: Furina summons the Singer of Many Waters. This does not move, but heals your on-field party member at regular intervals, based on Furina’s maximum HP. All of Furina’s summons remain on the field even when she swaps out, and both last for her entire skill cooldown. If Furina uses her charged attack to swap between the two, then the new summon carries on the same duration. While summons are on the field, Furina can walk on water |
Elemental burst: Let the People Rejoice | This move deals hydro damage in an AoE, based on Furina’s maximum HP. Your party members enter the Universal Revelry state. During this, when their HP increases or decreases, Furina gains a Fanfare Point for each percentage change. These points increase the active character’s damage and provide an incoming healing bonus |
Passive skills:
Skill | Effect |
Endless Waltz (unlocked at ascension one) | If your active character heals in a way that is not Furina’s skill, and then receives overflow healing, Furina can then heal nearby party members by 2% of their maximum HP two times |
Unheard Confession (unlocked at ascension four) | For every 1,000 of Furina’s maximum HP, she gains the following buffs for both of her Arkhe elemental skills – -Increases the damage of the Salon Members by 0.7%, up to a maximum of 28% -Decreases the intervals between Singer of Many Waters’ healing ticks by 0.4% up to a maximum of 16%. |
The Sea Is My Stage (unlocked automatically) | This shortens the cooldown on Xenochromatic Abberants abilities you gain underwater by 30% |
What is Genshin Impact Furina’s constellation?
Furina’s constellation is Animula Choragi – this translates roughly to ‘leader of a little soul chorus’. Here is what each copy of her unlocks, if you happen to pull one:
Constellation | Effect |
C1: “Love Is a Rebellious Bird That None Can Tame” | When using Let the People Rejoice, Furina gains 150 Fanfare. Additionally, her Fanfare limit increases by 100. |
C2: “A Woman Adapts Like Deckweed in Water” | While Let the People Rejoice lasts, Furina’s Fanfare she gains from HP fluctuation of party members increases by 250%. Each point of Fanfare above the limit increases Furina’s maximum HP by 0.35%. The maximum increase of this is 140%. |
C3: “My Secret Is Hidden Within Me, No One Will Know My Name” | Increases the level of Let the People Rejoice by three. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
C4: “They Know Not Life, Who Dwelt in the Netherworld Not!” | When the Salon Members of Salon Solitaire hit an opponent or the Singer of Many Waters restores HP to active characters, Furina restores four energy. |
C5: “His Name I Now Know, It Is…!” | Increases the level of Salon Solitaire by three. Maximum upgrade level is 15. |
C6: “Hear Me – Let Us Raise the Chalice of Love!” | When using Salon Solitaire, Furina gains the “Center of Attention” for ten seconds. While this is active, her normal, charged, and plunging attacks turn into hydro damage, which cannot be overridden by any other elemental infusion. Damage also increases by the equivalent of 18% of Furina’s maximum HP. Depending on her Arkhe alignment, these attacks have different effects: Arkhe: Ouisa – Every second, all nearby party members heal 4% of Furina’s max HP for 2.9 seconds. Triggering this again will extend the duration. Arkhe: Pneuma – Normal attacks, charged attacks, and plunging attacks increase by an amount equal to 25% of Furina’s max HP. Using this consumes 1% of nearby party member’s HP. |
What are Furina’s ascension materials?
