The PlayStation Portal Outsold The Xbox Series X/S In Spain Last Week

Whether you like it or not, one thing that’s been clear since the PlayStation Portal was made available for purchase is that people do want to buy it, since it’s been consistently sold out.

It’s even outsold the Xbox Series X/S console sales in Spain during its launch week(per GameReactor), with the Portal selling upwards of 5,700 units, and the Xbox Series consoles only managing little more than 2,000 units.

To be fair, it’s a lot cheaper to grab a PlayStation Portal than it would be to grab either of the Xbox Series consoles, and this was also the launch week of the Portal.

Not to mention that PS5 consoles have been far more popular than Xbox consoles across Europe, so it’s not as much of a surprise that more players, all of whom hopefully already own a PS5, grabbed a Portal than bought an entire new console.

It’ll be interesting to see how well the Portal keeps selling as we get deeper into the holiday season.
