Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater First In-Engine Look Revealed

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is the game that for many years, fans of the franchise gave up hope on ever seeing. It seemed like Konami didn’t want to jump back into proper game development, so a remake of one of its most famous titles felt just as unlikely.

The tides changed though and Konami has been partnering with other studios and taking on projects themselves to re-enter the games industry in a huge way, and its biggest IP’s are only starting to fire on all cylinders.

After it was originally officially revealed this past May, thanks to an Xbox Partner Showcase, we now have our first “in-engine” look at the game.

The video does clarify that it’s alpha footage, and it’s not officially called ‘gameplay,’ but certain shots do appear like they would be from the players perspective when actually playing.

All that to say this might not exactly be what the final product will look like in motion, but it already seems to be close to that.

Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and is being developed by Konami with support from Virtuos Studios.
