This week on the Pure Nintendo Podcast, Jemma and Trev discuss the latest Nintendo Direct, which covered the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Oh boy, do we have a lot to talk about!

Last week, we talked about the voice of Mario, Charles Martinet, who recently stepped down from the titular role. This week is all about the next steps for Mario’s gaming series, with a completely new take on his platforming outing.

Nintendo dropped a new Direct on us last week, this time dedicated entirely to Mario’s next title, Super Mario Bros. Wonder. We dissect the footage and talk about all the features we know about so far.

There’s a lot to cover, and the excitement is palpable as we question everything! After all, according to the Direct itself, anything is possible. Trev and Jemma go through the roster of playable characters, talk about the new enemies, and give our thoughts on Mario’s latest abilities. There’s so much happening in this new title, from badges to Wonder Flowers, not to mention the neat online components, that we just can’t wait to try ourselves.
