Baldur’s Gate III PS5 Will Ship With At Least One Major Patch Worth Of Fixes
Larian Studios is gearing up for the release of the PS5 version of Baldur’s Gate III early next month, and we know that it will benefit from a host of fixes from the existing PC release. However, the extent of those fixes has now been made a little clearer, and it appears we could have as many as two major patches full of quality of life improvements.
The Baldur’s Gate III website contains mammoth list of over 1,000 bug fixes that will be featured in the PS5 version of the game, but Larian Studios has also revealed that PC owners “won’t be waiting long for Patch 2, which is right around the corner” and focus on “significant performance improvements.” There’s every reason this will be included in the PS5 release, too.
We’ve eliminated issues like NPCs who sometimes spot you when they really shouldn’t be able to, floating items like mugs and newspapers that should abide the laws of gravity, and the conclusion to Shadowheart’s romance scene not triggering for some players, among others.
