‘Bugsnax’ From ‘Octodad’ Developer Young Horses Releases This Week on iOS – TouchArcade
Young Horses just announced that its unique creature collection and charming puzzler Bugsnax is coming to iOS this week. It was originally announced for a summer release, but it will hit iOS on July 12th. Bugsnax debuted on PS5, PS4, and PC platforms before it arrived on Nintendo Switch and Xbox platforms. I already played and enjoyed it quite a bit on PS5 and Switch. It has been nice revisiting it on Steam Deck as well. Read my Bugsnax Switch review here. The iOS version of Bugsnax will include controller support, full touch controls via a new control scheme, and also the DLC included from the start. Watch the Bugsnax trailer below:
Bugsnax is priced at $24.99 on PC and console platforms. A price point for Bugsnax hasn’t been announced yet, but I imagine it will be around $9.99. Once the page goes up, I’ll post about it if it does get a pre-order, but it likely will just hit the App Store when it releases. As of this writing, an Android version hasn’t been confirmed either. Having played it on Switch and Steam Deck, I’m curious to see how the iOS version runs on the devices I use to test review games on. You can check it out on Steam and Switch now if you’d like. Have you played Bugsnax on any platform before or will you be trying it on iOS this week?
