Rumor – Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Was Delayed Partly To ‘Rework/Remove Always Online Component’

According to Jez Cordon of Windows Central, part of the reason behind the delay of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is to rework or even remove the always online component.

Rocksteady Studios announced yesterday that its highly anticipated superhero title is no longer launching in May this year, and instead is being pushed back over half a year on PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.

Cordon however has added his own two pence as to one of the reasons why the game has been pushed back.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League received a lot of negative feedback following a major showcase earlier this year, with many criticising its function as a looter shooter with live service elements.

However, don’t expect these mechanics to be given the boot, with Jason Schreier saying prior to the delay that this element is not going to change should the game be postponed — which of course it now has.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is now due for release on February 2, 2024 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
