The Tower of Fantasy map is a vast, sprawling expanse full of exciting secrets, puzzles, minigames, and challenges, all begging to be discovered. This open world is densely packed, and an absolute treat to explore, especially on the back of your trusty motorbike, but let’s face it – in a big ol’ place like Aesperia, it can be pretty easy to get lost.

Luckily, the ToF map is split into several settlements that make it a whole lot easier to navigate, with the added bonus of icons and markers to help you chart your course. Areas of the Tower of Fantasy map

The Tower of Fantasy map is set in Aesperia, though you also occasionally visit Hykros, high above the land. Aesperia is populated with Protorowers, structures built to gain Omnium by Mara. They helped the Aidan civilization flourish until the catastrophe that led to Omnium turning living creatures into monsters. Some humans developed suppressors to live in the radioactive environment, but many were lost to their affliction.

Now, those who were unable to rise to Hykros are left on the surface of Aesperia, forced to depend on their suppressors to survive. Aesperia is currently made up of six main locations, where citizens gather together and build shelters and settlements.

Here are the six main areas that make up the Tower of Fantasy Aesperia map:

• Astra Shelter – an outpost led by Zeke, where you first start your adventure
• The Fox of Armata – a ravager base
• Port Banges – a bustling settlement that acts as the key hub for commerce and trading
• Cetus Island – known as a ‘floating island paradise’
• Crown Mines – the only crystal mines in all of Aesperia
• Warren Snowfield – an extremely cold region, blanketed with ice and snow

Here are the main areas that make up the Tower of Fantasy Vera map:

• Sandstorm grounds – a desert-like area plagued with disorienting sandstorms
• Rock Pillar Gobby – an area of the Vera Desert full of rock pillars formed by the long-term effects of the harsh weather
• Quicksand Belt – an area of the desert full of quicksand pits that devour everything that cross them
• Oasis – even the most dangerous of deserts still have areas of beauty, and the sparkling emerald oases are a testament to this

In Vera, there’s also the vibrant city of Tower of Fantasy’s Mirroria. Mirroria is a shelter to the survivors of Vera, using anti-gravity engines to float above the desert. Made up of three districts (A, B, and C) Mirroria is known for its bustling nightlife and beautiful, neon lights.

However, below Mirroria is the Confounding Abyss, another area of the Tower of Fantasy map, full of fearsome monsters and beastly bosses for you to face.

Resources are scarce across the Tower of Fantasy map, so the land between the settlements is full of beastly ravagers and monsters. They often invade other settlements, causing problems for your allies, so you’ll likely be dispatching them pretty often – luckily there are plenty of rewards for you to reap in their bases, too.

Aside from the ravagers and mind-bending monsters, there are plenty of interesting features to get acquainted with across the Tower of Fantasy map. From plants that you need to hit with certain elements, to pressure plates that need to be activated by two or more players simultaneously, there’s loads to explore. Luckily, the game gives you short tutorials every time you encounter something new, and you can access these later by going to the exclamation point icon on the left-hand side of your screen.

How do I increase my Tower of Fantasy map exploration progress?

Each area of the Tower of Fantasy map has its own exploration progress bar. At certain milestones, you earn unique rewards, including gold nucleus, SSR relics, mighty mushrooms, unique outfits, and more.

There are multiple ways to earn exploration points and increase your Tower of Fantasy map exploration progress. They are:

• Collecting supply pods
• Interacting with scenic points, then claiming them in your Terminal’s ‘Chronicles’ tab
• Activating space rifts (teleporters)
• Activating the Omnium Tower
• Completing ruins
• Activating ‘world exploration’ objects for the first time. These include anything in the map that offers a nucleus reward, for example interacting with kerosina plants or tar pits, jumping on mushrooms in the right order, throwing water cores into Chowchow plants, etc. Nearby exploration points are always noted on your map with a double, overlapping diamond icon.

Aesperia is full of treasures, ruins, puzzles, world bosses, and more for you to explore, unveil, and claim. It’s a wonderful experience to simply wander around and see what new surprises await, but if you’re on the hunt for something specific, you may want a method that’s a little more reliable than simply hoping you stumble across it.
