ROH On HonorClub Results 7/3/26

Ring Of Honor is back tonight.

ROH On HonorClub airs a special Friday night show at 8/7c this evening, as episode 173 takes place tonight.

Hook vs Nick Comoroto

Comoroto outsizes Hook by about 3:1, so it was interesting to see Hook be the one to beg off the code of honor. Comoroto sent hook to the ropes but he exploded off of them with a flurry of strikes. Comoroto suplexed him across the ring about it.

Comorotoa military pressed Hook, but then Hook relied on his technical skills and hit him with a takedown. That seemed to confuse the big man and Hook actually managed to suplex him.

Hook hit a running Senton and went for a cover, but Comoroto kicked out. Hook went for Redrum, but Comoroto threw him off and then picked him up for a butterfly suplex. He followed that with a running power slam for a two count.

Comorota missed on a Senton, allowing Hook to put on the Redrum sleeper. Comoroto had to tap out.

Match Result: Hook defeated Nick Comoroto

BEEF & The Premier Athletes (Ariya Daivari & Tony Nese) (w/Mark Sterling & Stori Denali) vs Aaron Dallas, Keagan Garland & LJ Cleary

After a brief recap package about The Premier Athletes drafting BEEF to “Wwhip him into shape” their opponents entered to the classic “Too Cool” music that Garland’s father used in his role as Attitude Era mainstay Scotty 2 Hotty.

Beef kicked things off against Garland with a tie up. Beef does look like he’s lost a little weight under the Athlete’s regime but still had a significant size advantage over Garland.

In spite of that, Garland got him into the corner for a triple team from Cleary and Dallas. Cleary caught a clothesline through the ropes from Daivari who tagged in to help Beef double team him. Then Nese took his turn.

Nese hit a kick on Clearly and gave him to Daivari for a double team and Beef begged for a tag. They gave it to him and he hit a huge splash on the prone Cleary to get the pin and victory.

Match Result: BEEF & The Premier Athletes defeated Aaron Dallas, Keagan Garland & LJ Cleary

Hyan & Maya World vs Robyn Renegade & Trish Adora (w/Christyan XO)

Adora and Hyan started things off with a shove and a waist lock. Hyan suplexed Adora and then caught her in a gator roll. World kept control and Adora rolled out to regroup with Renegade. That left them open for dual baseball slides from Hyan and World.

Adora was still legal as Hyan and World dragged her back into the ring and traded cannonballs and uppercuts in the corner. Renegade got a tag in and threw her elbow pad at Adora for taking so long. World immediately took her down with a hurricanrana and tagged in Hyan for what was supposed to be a double backdrop, but Adora countered with some face kicks.

Adora kicked Hyan in the back and stretched her arms behind her. Renegade came in to help by stomping on Hyan’s hands. Adora made the cover but Hyan kicked out at two.

Hyan made a hot tag to World who took out Adora and Renegade with a split-legged dropkick from the top. World went for a casadora and a double stomp on Renegade to get a two count. Adora tried to grab her ankle, but World shoved her off and hit a second rope moonsault for another two count.

All four were in the ring and renegade took out World and Hyan took out Adora leaving Hyan and Renegade to brawl. Adora grabbed Hyan in a stalling suplex and Renegade hit a superkick to add insult to suplex.

World came back with a discus forearm into a suplex followed by a shining wizard on Renegade. That was all she could handle and World made the cover to win the match.

Match Result: Hyan & Maya World defeated Robyn Renegade & Trish Adora

-Backstage, The Premier Beef-letes were interviewed. They all poured criticism on Beef in spite of the fact he won the match. They did let him issue a challenge to Dalton Castle and the Outrunners though, so that will be fun.

-A taped Lio Rush vingette played next and it was as strange as you’d expect it to be, with a wailing Rush picking up a smoking ROH TV Title belt, leading me to believe it’s his “precious.”

Action Andretti vs Alex Reynolds

Andretti threw a big boot right off the top to get Reynolds off his feet. Andretti chopped him in the corner then dropped him face first onto the ropes before hitting a backflip stunner.

Reynolds fought back and clotheslined Andretti over the top rope for a dive. Back in the ring, Reynolds threw hands in the corner and went for a cover, but Andretti kicked out at two.

On the outside, Andretti sent Reynolds into the barricades before tossing him back into the ring for a few pin attempts. Andretti hit a spingboard tornado senton, but Reynolds wasn’t done. He threw a forearm to Andtretti’s jaw and Andretti threw him face first into the ropes. He then hit a pumphandle side effect for good measure.

Reynolds hit a double stomp from the top rope, but Andretti kicked out of the cover at two. Reynolds went for a butterfly suplex, but Andretti countered it and hit some face kicks and a falcon arrow, but Reynolds kicked out.

Reynolds hit that butterfly suplex but Andretti kicked out. He put Andretti on the top turnbuckle and went for a superplex, but Andretti countered with an eye rake and hit a cutter across the ropes. Andretti then hit a springboard 450 to get the pin and the win.

Match Result: Action Andretti defeated Alex Reynolds

After the match, Andretti kicked Reynolds and grabbed a chair, but Dark Order member John Silver raced down and chased Andretti off. As Andretti was leaving, Lio Rush showed up with a rainbow umbrella. Rush, Reynolds and Silver chased off Andretti.

-Mance Warner cut a promo next about how he’s here to punch people in the face. He questioned putting him in Pure Rules matches because he doesn’t care about any of the rules.

Anthony Ogogo (w/Shane Taylor) vs Kiran Grey

Ogogo shoved off Grey’s Code of Honor offer and they started running the ropes, neither one able to catch the other looking. Ogogo eventually hit a back elbow and sent Grey to the corner for some stomps.

Ogogo hit a powerslam and Taylor yelled at him to keep up the pace. He did that, but Grey hit a big boot in the meantime. Ogogo sent him up and over and then dropped him with an elbow to the jaw off the ropes.

Grey came back with an elbow of his own and then clotheslined him off the ropes. It could not stop the elbows of Ogogo though as he got the best of Grey for a third time with one. Ogogo then grabbed a waistlock and tossed Grey across the ring.

Grey tried to get a big boot in there, but whiffed on the pin. Ogogo came back with an Angle Slam and then delivered a knockout punch in the center of the ring. The ref checked on Grey and declared the match over.

Match Result: Anthony Ogogo defeated Kiran Grey

-Next, Caprice Coleman “Chopped It Up” with the Infantry. Bravo, Dean and Adora have all been in the military, so it was a special 4th of July chopping. They all talked about their military service, which branch, what they did, etc. Coleman said that the people need to respect The Infantry more because of their service. They agreed. Coleman said that their service must help when making plans and training for matches. Bravo grabbed an American flag and Dean said that they understand the opposition.

Zayda Steel (w/Christopher Daniels & Red Velvet) vs Cassie Lee (w/Jessie McKay)

Lee and Steel spent a lot of time talking trash and cackling off the top, but eventually Lee sent Steelto the mat after a little hair pulling. Steel came back with a side slam and blocked an armdrag into a backslide cover attempt.

Steel tried a crucifix, but Lee kicked out at two. And posed. Steel took her down with an armdrag and then back elbow in the corner. She planted Lee with a running mare, and Lee went outside to reset wth McCay. Red Velvet chased McKay off, but Lee bounced Steel’s skull into the apron.

She dragged Steel back into the ring via the hair and Lee stomped her in the corner. Lee put her in a half crab, just out of reach of the ropes, but a foot did the trick and Lee had to break the hold. Lee bounced Steel’s head off the turnbuckles in sequence then hooked her for a fisherwoman’s suplex. Steel wasn’t done though and kicked out at two.

Lee and McKay tried to pose, but that let Steel hit the Real Deal and get the quick pin and victory.

Match Result: Zayda Steel defeated Cassie Lee

-Backstage Action Adretti cut a promo about how he should be the ROH TV Champion. He’s real mad about Lio Rush getting in his way. He said that he’ll beat Rush with his own umbrella and ensure his reign as champion comes to an end.

ROH Tag Team Championship Match: LFI (Sammy Guevara & The Beast Mortos) vs El Sky Team (Mascara Dorada & Mistico)

After some classic Guevara antics, the match opened with Dorada and Mistico using their speed and agility to keep the larger Mortos off balance. Guevara tagged in and quickly cut off Dorada during a springboard attempt isolating him in the LFI corner for double teaming.

LFI’s aggressive teamwork was on full display as Mortos repeatedly drove Dorada into the corners and flattened him with heavy running attacks. Guevara added quick strikes and taunts cause distraction and frustration from Mistico. Whenever Místico tagged in, got a huge pop and worked Guevara and Mortos with rapid arm drags, headscissors, and a dazzling dive to the floor that wiped out both members of LFI.

As the match came to a head, Dorada escaped a double-team attempt and connected with a flying attack that finally gave El Sky Team some space. Místico followed with a spectacular springboard maneuver that left Guevara reeling. The crowd was crayzy hot as El Sky Team strung together several near falls, while Mortos repeatedly broke up the pin attempts at the last possible second.

In the end, El Sky Team took out LFI on the outside with stereo leaps from the top rope. Back in the ring, Mistico tried to pin Guevara, but he kicked out. Mistico ran through a bunch of pin attempts and Guevara kicked him in the shnutz when the ref’s back was turned. Dorada took out Guevara and Mistico hit La Mistica on Mortos in the ring to get the 1-2-3 and win the ROH Tag Titles for El Sky Team.

Match Result: El Sky Team defeated LFI
