Episode 999: You Don’t Have to Show the Penis – Radio Free Nintendo

We’re so scared of Episode 1000 that we’re trying to get booted from NWR with these titles.

We’re taking next week off to finish preparations for Episode 1000. We’ll be recording that on November 14. All the details are in the companion article.

That means this episode is our slightly-less illustrious Episode 999. We should be doing a RetroActive on 9 Persons… but there’s no easy way to play it on Nintendo systems, so this week is a relatively normal episode.

Guillaume is doing the heavy lifting for New Business this week. He has impressions of Scott Pilgrim EX, which is not a deluxe version of the Scott Pilgrim beat ’em up from over a decade ago. It is, in fact, a brand new game! He also has been getting into the deep end with Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage. None of us were prepared for GuiEVO, but a professional is born every day. Lastly, he has updates on Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, which remains another Nintendo Sports game.

Jon is attempting to assist Guillaume in holding the fort on New Business with an update on Final Fantasy Resonance. Likewise Greg and James have short updates on Fortune’s Weave and Rhythm Heaven Groove.

After a break, we have a couple Listener Mail questions to answer. First, we make Nintendo’s shareholders smoke the entire carton with Nintendo’s long-awaited arrival on PC. We then explore the launch date of the Switch 2, and if it was a matter of providence. This is the last call for Episode 1000 Listener Mail.

We hope to see you all in two weeks for the live show!

If you want to give us a gift, how about you help us help others?
