Pokemon Pokopia Reaches 5 Million Sales After First Part Of Expansion Pass – News

Pokemon Pokopia is building quite the userbase.

Nintendo has confirmed that the March 5-launched Switch 2 exclusive has now sold more than 5m copies worldwide since launch. The total combines physical (Game Key Card) and digital sales and is sold to consumers, as opposed to shipments.

In the last Nintendo financal results, Pokopia was the only first party Switch 2 game to exceed 1m shipments in the quarter (1.27m units) and its lifetime shipments were given as 3.68m: this only accounts for territories outside Japan as The Pokemon Company publishes the game domestically.
