– We see Tavion Heights talking to Myles Borne in the locker room. Tavion says tonight is the biggest match of his career. Is Myles Borne ready? Myles jokingly pretends that he can’t hear Tavion. Tavion says that it’s not time to play around, they’re fighting for a championship tonight. Myles tells Tavion to relax, he’s locked in. With the opportunity for Myles to become a double champion, and see his best friend capture his first championship, he’s going all out in this NXT Tag Team Title Match. Tavion hugs Myles a big hug and tells him that he loves him. Tavion says that he doesn’t know what he’ll do if they lose tonight. Myles says that they are becoming the new NXT Tag Team Champions.

– Tickets for Survivor Series: War Games 2026 in Houston, Texas goes on sale this Friday.

– We see footage of Brock Lesnar confirming his retirement today on the Pat McAfee Show.

Tony D’Angelo, Grayson Waller, Cruz Montana Segment 

Tony D’Angelo: Now, last week, Grayson Waller came out here, disrespected me, disrespected everybody in the back, and disrespected this brand. Now, he thinks he’s going to use my title, like some boomerang, to get himself back to the main roster and get himself everything he thinks that he’s owed. Now, he thinks he’s going to use me as some steppingstone, and I’m not going to let that happen. And I damn sure not going to let him talk trash without consequence. But Grayson Waller, look, we go way back, he’s old news. Right now, I got some new business. Cruz Montana. Look, man, mistake or not, you still laid me out. Now, last week, you made your intentions very clear, so why don’t you come out here, and we can finish the conversation we started before the jackass interrupted.

Grayson Waller: No, no, no, no, Tony, Tony. I’m bored already, lad, I’m bored already. Spoiler alert, you’re going to talk about respect, he’ll come through the crowd, he’ll talk about the streets. Let’s talk about SummerSlam Week, who was everyone talking about? Grayson Waller. I’m the money fight, so you and that title go through me.

You see, me and Grayson, we used to be pals, we used to be teammates back in the 2.0 Days. WarGames, everybody remember that? Look, I’m going to go through who was on that team. Grayson Waller: That was pretty good, Tony, have you been practicing? You want to talk about relevancy, in the last week, more people are talking about the NXT Male Roster than ever, and that’s because of Grayson Waller, you’re welcome. And you’ve had a week, and you’ve done nothing. I know you lost your family, but I didn’t know you lost your balls, too. But at least you came out here, and you have some energy, you have some fire, unlike that soft roster backstage that ran to their phones. You got a bunch of guys backstage tweeting, 120 characters.

Cruz Montana: Hey, yo, NXT, what is good? Now that I got that out of the way, at no point did I hear the champ call you out here. But since you’re out here, I figured we give you this work. Last week, you rattled some cages, I publicly gave you props for it. I was once in your shoes, the only thing is that, I didn’t go on a microphone to try to clown nobody or try to bitch and moan to the world. I went out there, and I put in work. I proved, week after week, month after month, that I am the man that I say I am, baby. And you got a chip on your shoulder, because your nice and comfortable life isn’t as nice as you like it. I got a chip on my shoulder, because I got no other option, you feel me? It was either this or become another statistic of the same blocks that I still live on. But check me, I hope and pray, for your sake. that you never have to meet the man in the mirror that I went to war with. And I want you to think about that when you are rehearsing your corny ass comeback lines, alright? Tony D’Angelo: Alright, alright, alright, listen, I don’t care what either of your motivations are, you both want the same thing, my title. So, listen, talk to Stone, make a Number One Contenders Match, and I’ll see the winner at Heatwave.

– We got a replay of the controversial first match that Kendal Grey and Lola Vice had at the Theatre At Madison Square Garden from March 31st.

– We see Kendal Grey talking to Wren Sinclair in the Women’s Locker Room. Wren is talking at a million words per minute. Wren says that tonight feels a lot like The Great American Bash, but there’s a lot more at stake this time. Wren points that Kendal is defending her NXT Women’s Championship in an Underground Match that obviously favors Lola Vice. They may be in over their heads. Kendal tells Wren that it’s going to be fine, they wanted to be champions together, they wanted the pressure. Kendal reminds Wren that her match is coming up next, she needs to lock in.

Second Match: Wren Sinclair (c) vs. Zaria For The WWE Speed Women’s Championship. If Wren Sinclair Wins, She’ll Get A Shot At The WWE NXT Women’s North American Championship 

Zaria goes for The F5, but Sinclair counters with a Sunset Flip for a one count. Sinclair with a side headlock takeover. Zaria backs Sinclair into the turnbuckles. Zaria drops Sinclair with The Big Boot. Sinclair avoids The Elbow Drop. Sinclair with a deep arm-drag. Zaria drives Sinclair back first into the turnbuckles. Zaria is throwing haymakers at Sinclair. – We see OTM chatting in the back. Bronco Nima tells Lucien Price that he owes him one. Last week, Bronco took his eye off the ball, and it cost them their match with The Birthright. Lucien tells Bronco that it’s all good, he doesn’t need to apologize. Bronco hugs Lucien. Lucien mentions that Bronco has a backup plan in AAA, so he’s getting a backup plan of his own. The Birthright appears. Lexis King says that it was a rough week for OTM. Morale is high when it comes to The Birthright. What do they want? Lexis just wanted to say that he was right, OTM is crumbling apart. Lucien is getting tired of Lexis running his mouth on their name. Lucien challenges Lexis to a match. Lucien doesn’t give a damn about the Speed Tournament after Uriah Connors chimed in. Lucien says that his brother has his backup plan, he just found his and he walks away.

– Coming out of the commercial break, Grayson Waller runs into Kelani Jordan in the back. Kelani appreciates Grayson’s radical honesty, and he’s right about the 10% waiting for the main roster, but he’s already had plenty of opportunities at the NXT Championship, and she still hasn’t gotten one. When Kelani finally gets that opportunity, she’s going to do something that even Grayson couldn’t do. And what is that? Win the top title on her very first attempt. Grayson tells Kelani to don’t miss. Kelani says that she won’t as she walks away. Mason Rook appears. Where does Grayson go off calling them soft? He traveled across the world, just like Grayson did. Meanwhile, he’s twice the size of Grayson, and he can do things in that ring that Grayson could only dream of. Mason challenges Grayson to a match. Grayson says, you think you know my story? Look at Mason, he doesn’t know what sacrifice. Kam Hendrix attacks Mason Rook from behind. That leads us to a huge pull apart brawl.

Third Match: The Vanity Project (c) vs. Myles Borne & Tavion Heights For The WWE NXT Tag Team Championship

– Jackson Drake starts throwing a fit on their way back to Gorilla. Myka Lockwood gets the googly eyes as she Keanu Carver makes his way to the NXT Arena.

– Lizzy Rain runs into The Culling in the backstage area. Izzi Dame says that Lizzy’s luck has been at an all-time high. She should thank Shawn Spears for that, he’s just mad that Niko Vance kicked him out of his own group. Niko says that he’ll handle Spears. Lizzy says that’s bollocks, luck is for losers and Izzi lost to the Maiden Of Metal. Izzi says it’s time for Lizzy to learn her place around here. Shawn Spears appears holding a steel chair. Spears talked to Robert Stone, and next week, it’s The Culling vs. Lizzy Rain & Shawn Spears in a Mixed Tag Team Match. Didn’t Spears used to say, quit while you’re at ahead? He never takes his own advice. Vance says that Spears won’t see their next strike coming. Lizzy tells Spears that she doesn’t trust him, if anything goes sideways next week, it’s going to be a 3-on-1 attack really quick. Spears says that Lizzy is a smart girl after she walks away.

Fourth Match: Keanu Carver vs. EK Prosper 

Collar and Elbow Tie Up. Carver backs Prosper into the turnbuckles. The referee calls for a clean break. Carver pats Prosper on his shoulders. Standing Switch Exchange. Carver with a waist lock takedown. Carver applies a front face lock. Prosper transitions into a hammerlock. Carver with a Release Northern Lights Suplex. Carver goes for a Big Biel Throw, but Prosper lands back on his feet. Prosper side steps Carver into the turnbuckles. Carver launches Prosper over the top rope. Prosper with The Apron Enzuigiri. – We see DarkState talking in the back. Cutler James asks if Dion Lennox is alright. You would think he would be in a better mood after winning that 6-Man Tag Team Match. Osiris mentions Lennox has a rematch with Saquon Shugars next week, and he’s always got something to prove. Lennox can’t believe that they’re talking about Angry Dion, again, never satisfied with anything. Osiris says that hypertension is bad for Lennox. It’s starting to seem that way, they’re coming off a win. Lennox is still pissed about being put through a wall. Lennox wants DarkState to be untouchable. Lennox says that Cutler and Osiris can be content with beating a team that was thrown together a week before the match. They’re happy about a win, yet Saquon Shugars is still walking around. They used to be champions. They used to be feared. You heard what Grayson Waller said about the locker room being soft and complacent. Lennox isn’t complacent, but if Cutler and Osiris are, what the hell are they doing here? Waller is not right about DarkState. Next week, they won’t allow Saquon to walk away, because when DarkState strikes, ain’t nobody safe.

– We get a replay of Kendal Grey beating Lola Vice to become the NXT Women’s Champion at The Great American Bash.

– Cruz Montana runs into Robert Stone in the backstage area. Stone was talking to a free agent on his cellphone. Vice reverses the hold. Grey uses her feet to escape the hold. Grey blocks The Mid-Kick. Vice kicks Grey in the ribs. Grey and Vice are trading back and forth shots. After the match, Grey hugs Vice as the show goes off the air.
