James Bond 007: Agent Under Fire was the first James Bond game to feature a completely original story instead of adapting one of the films. You step into the role of 007 as he travels across the globe to stop a dangerous criminal organization planning to replace world leaders with genetically engineered clones.
The game delivers everything you’d expect from a classic Bond adventure. High-speed car chases, stealth infiltrations, explosive shootouts, incredible gadgets from Q Branch, and plenty of cinematic moments make it feel like you’re playing through an original James Bond movie.
What I like most about Agent Under Fire is the variety. One mission has you sneaking through enemy bases, the next puts you behind the wheel of the Aston Martin equipped with missiles and machine guns, and then you’re escaping from helicopters or battling enemies aboard moving trains. It constantly changes things up, which keeps the campaign entertaining from start to finish.
Even though it’s one of the older Bond games, it still captures the spirit of the franchise really well and remains a nostalgic favorite for many fans.
