Grand Theft Auto VI’s Vice City Looks Stunning In Brief Visual Overview

Rockstar Games has overhauled its Grand Theft Auto VI website alongside the announcement of the game’s cover art and preorder date, but in doing so it’s also given us a brief (but lovely) overview of Vice City.

As you scroll down the page, you’ll be treated to a quick view of the city at sunset, showcasing neon-lit skyscrapers in the background, choppers occupying the near-night skies and boats (possibly patrol boats?) in the waters below. The city itself is glowing with nightlife, which is about what you’d expect from a place like Vice City. There’s also a ferris wheel off in the distance, and to the left in the foreground there appears to a be dock with shipping containers. Hopefully it won’t be long until the next trailer!

Vice City has obviously been a popular location in the past, having appeared in Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories. The latter was my first ever GTA game and probably my favourite, although that’s probably due to the fact Phil Collins appears in the game as a key character and the soundtrack is full of 80s metal and rock.

GTA VI’s version of Vice Cit takes place in in the 2020s and follows Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a romantic criminal duo who, after a failed bank heist, are forced to protect each other after unearthing a state-wide conspiracy.

Grand Theft Auto VI is launching November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
