The Expanse: Osiris Reborn Closed Beta Now Live For PS5, Full Game Launch Set For Spring 2027

Owlcat Games has announced that The Expanse: Osiris Reborn‘s Closed Beta Test is now available for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S, with the full version of the game penciled in for launch in Spring 2027.

The Closed Beta for The Expanse: Osiris Reborn allows players to take on the role of a female character from the Belt or an Earth-born Male, with the choice of officer or hacker abilities. You’ll be accompanied by sibling J and supported by Zafar, a veteran mechanic, and explore a remote space station belonging to Pinkwater Security, following on from surviving the catastrophic events on Eros. Along the way, you can interact with the station’s inhabitants and tinker with dialogue options and choices, and get a taste of everyday life on the space station.

In order to access the Closed Beta you’ll need to be a Founder and own the Miller’s Pack or Collector’s Edition, before logging into your account on the official site, heading to your profile and then selecting the ‘Digital Download’ tab. You can then select your platform for Beta access and go from there.

The Expanse: Osiris Reborn is billed as an action-RPG with a strong emphasis on storytelling, with a large focus on companions, player choices, and dynamic third-person combat.
