What’s A ‘Good Deal’ For An Xbox Series X or S In 2026?

We’re hopeful this will continue throughout 2026, especially with GTA 6 on the horizon — a game that will only be playable on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PS5 when it first launches. It only makes sense for Microsoft to try and push a few more consoles out the door to coincide with the biggest game of the entire console generation.

There is the other question as well though, which is whether it’s worth buying an Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S at this point with Xbox’s Project Helix console not far away. There’s a chance the new console could arrive by the end of 2027, and that certainly needs to be taken into account when considering a Series X or Series S.

So, with all of this in mind, if someone visited Pure Xbox today and wanted to know what a “good deal” would be for a new Xbox console, what would you advise them? We’re fascinated to hear your suggestions down below!
