Rumour — God Of War Spinoff Will Feature Faye & Tyr, With Players Exploring Multiple Mythologies

Fresh reports about the rumoured God of War spinoff have surfaced online, which claim that in addition to Faye, Kratos’ wife from the God of War 2018 reboot, the game will also feature Tyr.
As spotted by MP1st, a FandomWire report from 2023 claimed that the God of War spinoff will feature two main characters, none of which are Kratos, although he may show up a some point. Since the article was published, the author has corrected some info, and a now-deleted Reddit comment has revealed that the God of War spinoff will include Faye (not Freya, as they had originally believed) and the Norse God of War, Tyr.
Beyond that, a talking sword said to be Merlin will appear in the game alongside a companion that is described as a kind of “gelatinous cube.” Several mythologies will also be explored during the title, including Mayan and more. MP1st claims that East-Asian mythologies will be part of the God of War spinoff, and elements of Chinese and Japanese mythology may also be featured. Keep in mind that nothing official has been announced yet.
Back in early March, leaker NateTheHate stated that Faye will be the lead character in the new God of War title, and will focus more on action compare to the previous Norse saga games.
