S-Game Confirms Phantom Blade Zero Is ‘In The Intense, Final Stages Of Development’

Phantom Blade Zero developer S-Game has revealed in a post on X that the project has reached the final stages of development, and passionately declared that “every single piece of content” in the game is the result of work from “real artists,” with no use of AI.
Phantom Blade Zero is currently in the intense, final stages of development. With the time we have left, we are pouring every available resource into pushing every aspect of the game to the absolute limit of our capabilities. We are fully aware that a profound technological revolution is unfolding around us. However, to this day, every single piece of content in our game has been crafted by the hands of real artists. We will not use AI visual tech that could alter our artists’ original creative intent.
Phantom Blade Zero is built on Unreal Engine 5 and combines Wuxia storytelling with adrenaline-pumping action, with players following a cursed warrior named Soul, who has only six-six days to live. After being framed for the murder of his master, Soul finds himself alone and hunted by his former comrades, while travelling through a world of shifting loyalties and silent blades. The game takes inspiration from the Golden Age of Hong Kong action films, creating a new style – Kungfupunk – by marrying fierce martial arts and machinery.
S-Game previously confirmed that Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled to launch for PS5 on September 9, 2026.
