Starfield PS5 Download Size Confirmed Ahead Of April 7 Release Date

The ever-reliable PlayStation Game Size on X has revealed that the PS5 version of Starfield will weigh in at just over 123GB, while the accompanying DLCs – Shattered Space and Terrain Armada – will clock in at 12.502GB and 4.017GB, respectively.

Starfield was officially confirmed for a PS5 release earlier this month, and follows about two years worth of rumours and speculation about the game arriving on Sony’s console. Now that’s finally happening, the PS5 version of Starfield will boast various quality-of-life improvements and all previously released updates, in addition to the Free Lanes update that is launching on PC and Xbox Series X/S day and date with the PS5 edition.

The DualSense controller’s unique functionality will also be supported by Starfield, with adaptive triggers offering feedback depending on your weapon type and the light bar offering an indication of your character and ship’s health. Fans will be able to purchase Starfield on PS5 in both the Standard and Premium Edition flavours, either as a digital download or physical copy.
