This New RPG Is Heavily Inspired By Paper Mario, And It’s Releasing On Xbox Next Week

A game that almost certainly will have gone under the radar for most Xbox fans is Escape from Ever After, but if you like Paper Mario, it’s one you’ll definitely want to look out for when it releases on Xbox next week.

This game is specifically described by its creators as being “a genre-bending RPG inspired by the classic Paper Mario games”, and it certainly resembles the classic Nintendo series in the trailer you see above and screenshots below.

A genre-bending RPG inspired by the classic Paper Mario games! When a greedy megacorp from the real world starts taking over fairytales for their cheap labor, a newly-hired storybook hero must climb the corporate ladder, rally together other disgruntled employees, and fight back!

Better yet, it has a free demo on both Xbox and Steam! The Xbox demo is called “Escape from Ever After: Onboarding” and lets you play the prologue, and the Steam demo has a “Very Positive” rating based on 169 votes.
