These Games Are Coming To Xbox Next Week (January 5-9)

Welcome to your Xbox games roundup for January 5-9! It’s still very early days for new releases this month, but we’ve got a handful of indie titles coming our way, along with hopefully some Game Pass titles that are yet to be revealed.

Here’s what’s coming to Xbox next week:

New Xbox Releases (January 5-9)

• I Am Future: Cozy Apocalypse Survival (January 8): “I Am Future is a relaxing single-player survival game about building a cozy rooftop camp amid a flooded post-apocalyptic city. Set up a farm, go fishing, tinker with gadgets, craft new tools, manage a team of cute robots to automate and expand your base, explore the mysterious world, and chill out!”

• Hero Seekers (January 9): “Experience a full-fledged fantasy JRPG filled with classic turn-based battles, dungeon exploration, and strategic party building. Form teams of up to five heroes, combining unique traits and skills to create powerful synergies.”

• Owlen and the Spirits of the Past (January 9): “Embark on a heartfelt journey as Owlen, a small owl soaring through mystical worlds filled with wonder and secrets. Guided by the voices of ancient spirits, you must restore balance by flying through magical circles, bringing plants, trees, and wildlife back to life.”

• Spear (January 9): “A fast-paced action-platformer where an NPC wields a makeshift spear to fight glitches, solve puzzles, and save his own game.”

Xbox Game Pass Titles

No Xbox Game Pass titles have been announced for next week just yet, although it’s possible we could learn of some over the next few days — most likely on Tuesday.
