Looking for a cute multiplayer game to play over the holidays? We’re here to help – enter our Hello Kitty and Friends: Freeze Tag Party giveaway to be in with a chance of winning a physical copy of the game on Nintendo Switch.

We’ve got two copies to give away to lucky winners in the US or Canada. Hello Kitty and Friends: Freeze Tag might be an original Switch game, but it still works on Nintendo Switch 2, too, so don’t worry about missing out if you only have the newer console.

This is a multiplayer game where you, as an adorable Sanrio character, are plopped into an action-packed world where runners and chasers (Challengers and Hunters) chase each other around to try and win. You can pop off plenty of magical skills, tailored to each character, to stop others in their tracks.

It’s essentially tag, with six Challengers and two Hunters in each game. You can play it via local co-op or online wireless connection to get friends and family involved.

If you’re wondering which characters make an appearance, it’s most of the Sanrio cast we’ve come to know and love. You can play certain characters as Hunters or Challengers. Your Hunters include Kuromi and Badtz-Maru, whereas Cinnamoroll, Pochacco, Pompompurin (my personal favorite), and Hello Kitty are the Challengers.

Honestly, running around chasing tiny Little Twin Stars, casting spells, sounds great – especially if I can do it head-to-head with a friend or family member… and beat them.
