Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut, Yakuza Kiwami 1 & 2 PS5 Discounts Confirmed For Those Who Own PS4 Digital Versions
SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have confirmed discounts for the upcoming PS5 releases of Yakuza 0: Director’s Cut, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2 for those who already down the games digitally in their original PS4 incarnations.
Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut can be purchased at a major discount for $14.99 by December 8, 2025 for those who already own Yakuza 0 on the PS4, PC, and Xbox One digitally. Meanwhile, Yakuza Kiwami can be snapped up for $1.99 by the same date for those who have the digital version of the game on PS4 or Xbox One, whereas you would otherwise pay $19.99. Finally, Yakuza Kiwami 2 can be upgraded to on PS5 at no extra cost by December 8, again for those who own the last-generation version.

All three games are due out for PS5 on December 8, 2025. Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut is perhaps the most interesting of the bunch, as it adds new cutscenes to flesh out the story compared to the original version of the game, plus the online-based Red Light Raid mode, and support for multiple languages including a full English dub.
